Set up a Cloud Data Warehouse: Use the Snowflake database service for flexible, scalable, low maintenance reporting.
Set up and integrate a Kafka messaging service in your software stack. Deploy Zookeeper and Kafka server clusters in Amazon AWS. Use Java or Ruby Kafka clients integrating to your application code.
Create software in the environment as needed: Experience with bash/Ruby scripts for ETL, custom reporting, monitoring. Database scripts in PL/pgSQL. Application software in Ruby, Java, Python.
Create data models for reporting, create a Data Warehouse, migrate databases, set up data pipelines, and track data quality. Work with all aspects of the Data pipeline.
Evaluate technology and match the right solution to the problem. Use AWS hosting, Snowflake, self hosted databases, SQL and NoSQL technologies, and other data services.
